Meet the Simi Valley Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Simi Valley

We’ve been working on garage doors across Simi Valley since 2015, and the crew you’ll see at your door lives here too. Some of us grew up in Ventura County, others moved here for the trade and stayed. What unites us is simple: we measure twice, quote once, and leave a documented record of what we found and what we did. Marcus Deller built this operation on a rule that predates the branding: the customer sees the failed part before anyone quotes a replacement. Every technician on this page works to that same Clause 4 standard.

Our People

Marcus Deller, Owner

Marcus has run Servo Garage Doors Simi Valley since 2015, and he still takes service calls when the schedule demands it. His background is in torsion spring systems and operator logic boards, and he’s the one who wrote the internal checklist that eventually became The Haven Standard. He’s the reason every job leaves with a photo record and a written scope, not a handshake and a hope. If you bring in a competing written estimate, he’s the one who reviews it for the Free Second Opinion. Outside work, he restores old Craftsman openers from the 1990s and keeps three of them running in his own garage.

Victor R., Lead Technician

Victor has been with Servo for seven years and handles most of the torsion spring replacements and cable reroutes in Simi Valley, Moorpark, and Thousand Oaks. He’s factory-trained on LiftMaster and Chamberlain logic boards and carries the diagnostic tools to test a limit switch or a trolley carriage on-site. Victor is the one who’ll walk you through the photo record before he quotes a replacement, which is exactly how Clause 1 is meant to work in practice. He’s also the fastest on the team at setting up a new Genie belt rail without scratching the ceiling. Ask him about the time a rattlesnake wandered into a Wood Ranch garage mid-repair. He’ll tell it better than we can.

Dana K., Senior Installer

Dana leads our new-door and full-system installation work, and she’s installed every brand we service: Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Raynor, and the rest. She started in the trade twelve years ago doing commercial dock doors, which is why her residential installs are level to the sixteenth of an inch and quiet on day one, not just day thirty. Dana handles the measuring and ordering for every installation quote, and she’s the one who builds the written scope you’ll see before any work starts. She keeps a torque wrench in her truck that’s older than some of our apprentices.

Ray M., Service Coordinator & Apprentice Technician

Ray answers the phone on nights and weekends and coordinates emergency dispatch, which means when your spring breaks at 9 p.m. in central Simi Valley, he’s the voice you hear first. He’s a third-year apprentice working toward his full technician certification, and he rides along on repair calls to learn torsion spring, drum, and cable work hands-on. Ray maintains the documentation system that routes your photo record and written warranty after every visit. He’s also the only person on the team who prefers Chamberlain’s older chain-drive openers over the new belt models, a position that has started multiple lunch arguments.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

The team in Simi Valley operates under The Haven Standard, the same operating rules that govern every Servo location across California. Clause 1 means a flat, written price and written scope before any work begins. Clause 4 means the photo record. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if a repair isn’t right, we return and make it right. Independently owned and operated by Marcus Deller, this location holds its own license and insurance, and every technician is background-checked and uniformed. What Haven contributes is the documentation system and the standard we agree to work to. What we contribute is the judgment that comes from 18,000-plus garage doors made right since 2015, most of them within twenty miles of this shop.
